THE EAGLE^® MIXING NOZZLE

    The Eagle^® Mixing Nozzle is currently in the final research and development stage. This nozzle will give molders another option to process different resins that is both cost-effective and readily available.  Designed to optimize process performance, it is the solution to short run color mixing issues.  When color concentrates won't completely mix with the material, and time does not allow for a specially designed screw to be manufactured, the Eagle^® Mixing Nozzle can get the job done.

Patented

    The Eagle^® Mixing Nozzle utilizes both dispersive and distributive mixing, with minimal pressure drop and rapid conveying rate.  This nozzle achieves homogeneous and isothermal melt quality at the lowest possible melt temperature.  Patterned after our patented Eagle^® Mixing Screw, this Eagle^® nozzle can complete the color mixing without adding excessive shear to the polymer melt.
